M-JD.co.uk is run by a Graduate from Queen's University Belfast who studied a BSc in Computing & Information Technology. I have about 5 years experience making websites for various companies. My Name is Martin Dempsey and I am based in Carryduff, South Belfast area of Nothern Ireland.
Website Experience
Currently I have been using Joomla CMS (Content Management System) as I find it easier for clients to update their website when it goes live although I am trying to improve my knowledge in other types of web development such as WordPress, Dreamweaver, Flash and Visual Studio.
Custom PC Experience
I started building computers about 7 years ago when I couldn't afford to buy a computer with a decent specification. I found out that It was cheaper to buy all the components separetly and produce a better computer than what PC World were selling and for a more affordable price. I find building a computer instead of buying one is the only way as all the manufactuers can include software that can slow the computer down and not useful to the user in the long run.
Technical Support Experience
I have had 2 years experience working as on student placement with a company that provided technical support to over 500 users. When I find out about a problem I immediately try and think of a way to fix this and I usually don't stop until I fix the problem. I have dealt with problems with servers, computers, networking, mobile phones, and printers to name some off the top of my head.
I am very enthusiastic about what I do whether it be any of the subjects above and I hope I get an opportunity to work with you in the near future.
